When you join our waitlist, we collect your email address. When you use the Prowl app, we collect your approximate location (with your permission) to show you nearby venues. We also collect anonymous usage data to improve the app.
Your email is used only to notify you about Prowl's launch and product updates. Your location is used only to find venues near you — we don't store your location history. Usage data is anonymized and used to improve search quality.
Prowl uses Google Places API to provide venue data (ratings, hours, photos). When you search, your query and approximate location are sent to Google to retrieve results. Google's privacy policy applies to their processing of this data.
You can request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us on Instagram. If you have an account, you can delete it from the app settings, which removes all your saved data.
